Procedure

• Choose a quiet place.
• Declare this quiet place as your ritual space.
• Cleanse, protect, and bless your ritual space.
• Dust the floor.
• Spread the fabric.
• Using the fabric, establish a circular flat area in the center.
• As if you were making a nest, wrap the edges with the fabric.
• Contemplate the image, the empty nest.
• Close your eyes.
• Visualize a circle or sphere of light surrounding your ritual area.
• Count to twenty-two. Think of the part and the whole, think of nothingness.
• The altar is ready for sacrifice.
