Tom Parker is an interdisciplinary artist who chooses to work mainly in print. Born in 1991 in Hertfordshire and brought up in Cumbria, he has a BA in Fine Art from the Cass School of Art and is currently studying an MA in Print at the Royal College of Art. He has lived in Jersey for much time over the last decade and in 2018 he co-founded Luddite Press there with fellow artist and collaborator Tim Le Breuilly. Luddite Press is a non-profit printmaking studio which regularly engages in community-based workshops and teaching and provides open-access printmaking facilities to the island’s artists. Devising and leading these workshops is an important part of Tom’s practice, as is being outdoors and connecting with the environment. He currently lives between London and Jersey and works with CCA Galleries International and Luddite Press.
